World Skate Games 2024 in Roccaraso, Italy

The picturesque ski town of Roccaraso, nestled in the heart of Italy's Abruzzo region, transforms into the epicenter of global skating. From August 29th to September 22nd, Roccaraso is hosting the World Skate Games 2024, drawing over 12,000 participants—including athletes, coaches, and delegations from 100 countries—along with tens of thousands of passionate fans. The event is a celebration of skating in all its forms, featuring the best talents from around the globe.

THE GAMES HAVE ALREADY BEGUN

One of the events at the World Skate Games is the World Inline Hockey Championships, where teams will battle it out across four divisions: Junior Women, Junior Men, Senior Women, and Senior Men. These tournaments showcase the elite of the sport, this rink is an olympic sized rink giving lots of room for speed and creativeness.

Currently, the Junior Women's division is in full swing, with the championship game set between the powerhouse team from Spain and a highly skilled USA squad. The American team, led by coaches Alex Morrison and Laura Vehrantra, has been on a roll throughout the tournament with their disciplined play and creative offense. Spain, a very highly skilled team with lots of experience will look to claim there back 2 back world championships.

Junior Men’s Division: September 9th - 15th
Senior Men’s Division: September 16th - 22nd
