Roller Guys Playing D1 Ice Hockey 

We finally have Hockey back at some capacity. The NHL is starting January 1st and the Other Pro Leagues are to follow. 

Right now we got some NCAA D1 Ice Hockey going on, Most of the schools have returned to play. One thing is for sure there is a lot of Roller Representation in D1 Ice. 26 guys - 25 Players and 1 Tendy, The tallest man on earth Mundinger. I remember watching him in net for the Black Ice 95's he was an absolute monster in the net. Now playing for Long Island Univ. in their first year of Division 1 for Ice Hockey. 

We've had some Rollerdad's lighting it up so far Kent Johnson (Univ. Michigan), Ethen Frank (Western Michigan Univ.), Charlie Combs (Michigan State Univ.) and Ronald Attard (Western Michigan Univ.) I guess the State of Michigan is very well represented you could say. 

We're gonna Highlight a few guys who still Play in the PRO Roller Scene during their offseason on ice. 

Ethen Frank  - wESTER mICHIGAN unIVERSITY / TOUR MUDCATS

State Wars Pama pro Invitational 2020

Ethen Frank a Senior , Currently has 8 points in 9 games for Western Michigan University. He earned NCHC Player of the week last week putting up 3G and 2A in 3 games. The kid has cannon as one timer and can snipe the puck pretty much where he wants. Ethen plays with the Tour Mudcats in the Pro Roller Scene at NARCh Pro, PAMA Pro Invitational, and TORHS Pro Series. He had 3 points in 6 Games at Pama Pro in 2020. Frank grew up in Colorado playing Roller Hockey at Skate City and then moved to Nebraska pre teens where his Dad (Dave Frank) Ran the skate city out of there and he continued his Hockey career to what it is today playing for Western Michigan in D1 Ice. 

Charlie Combs - MICHIGAN STATE UNIVERSITY / MISSION LABEDA SNIPERS

State Wars Pama pro Invitational 2019

Charlie Combs transferd From Bemidiji state to MSU over the Summer and he has never looked so good. Already grabbing 6 points in 8 Games for the Spartans. Combs plays for the Powerhouse Mission Labeda Snipers in the Pro scene. He has won 2 Pama Pro titles and 1 NARCh Pro Title with them. Charlie is from St. Louis, MO the Roller Hockey hot bed some would say. 

Jared Westcott - Penn state university / marsblade lions

Westcott is off to a HOTT start as a freshman with 5 Points in 8 Games for the Nittany Lions. He showed out in his Rookie year of the Pama Pro Invitational as well with 6 Points in 5 Games for the Alkali Revel Lions. Jared grew up playing with Missouri Stl. at NARCh and representing Team Missouri at State Wars. So you could say he's been a long time Rollerdad. 

Kyle Mayhew - Denver University / Rink Rat

Kyle Mayhew is in his Junior year at Denver University , he currently has 1 point this season for the Pioneers. Mayhew currently plays with Rink Rat Pro team in the Roller scene but some Rumors say he will be joining a new squad this summer... Kyle tore it up for Rink Rat being the leading scorer at PAMA Pro Invitational for his team with 6 points in 5 games. Mayhew grew up playing with Raiders HC, PAMA Cyclones and Rink Rat Groove. He won the Pama Pro Invitational in 2018 with Rink Rat and has gone Back2Back with Rink Rat Groove in the junior division at State Wars.
